Our anniversary was actually two days ago, and though we weren't able to go out to celebrate, it was still nice just having the day to be together. Husband got sick last Thursday and was getting over it by Sunday, so that's why we couldn't go out. I'm happy to report, though, that no one in this house is sick anymore. I have a little bit of a cough left over (nothing serious) and Husband has a slight sniffle which should be gone in the next day. The kids are both on antibiotics 'cause they both got sinus infections again, but thankfully they're not contagious anymore.
So yeah, we've been married 7 years. I can't even believe it's been that long, it doesn't feel like it. I guess with everything we've done over the years, the moving around, having my sister move in, buying two houses, and of course, having kids, all of that makes the time go by faster.
Oh, before I forget, I just have to state a couple of funny things the kids did. First off, everyone knows that Macho will eat anything, so Husband wanted to try something. He decided to give Macho pickles. He wanted to see the look on the little guy's face when he ate it, so he cut off a small piece and stuck it into Macho's mouth. Anyone want to guess what his reaction was? Well, most of you would probably be WRONG. Macho had absolutely NO reaction whatsoever. None! He just ate it. I couldn't believe it.
Then, Beauty learned a new word, or I should say, I tried teaching her the word "bus." She learned it, kind of. She can identify a bus and she tries to say the word, but instead of saying bus, she ends up saying, "but." So now everytime we see a bus, she says, "But!" It's hilarious!
