So I haven't blogged in a while...again...because I can't get on the computer to save my life! Seriously, if I try to get on the computer, the little monsters - I mean, my sweet children - come into my room (where the puter is) and do whatever they can to keep me from doing something I want to do instead of something I have to. Beauty's thing is she loves jumping on our bed. I'm constantly asking her not to, but like a regular child, she just ignores me. Macho's thing is he absolutely loves the computer (looks like we've got ourselves another computer person). He likes to bang on the keyboard and play with the mouse, especially when I am trying to do something. So yeah, I really don't blog much because of them.
Beauty has been doing really well in preschool. She is now sitting down to participate in "art time." She had reservations about it in the past because the teachers try to get the kids to use glue. Beauty has had difficulty using glue or touching glue because of the way it feels (tactile hypersensitivity), but she actually started using the glue last week to stick pictures onto cardboard. The teachers are very pleased with her progress.
And since I said something about Beauty, I guess I should say something about Macho. Hmm...what to say. The only thing I can think of is that he never gets tired of eating! He LOVES food. He'll eat a little bit of everything and he'll do it with a big cheesey grin on his face! He's such a happy baby now. I mean, he was always happy, but with his milk allergy and slow-digestive problem gone, he's happier than I've ever seen him.
OH! I know what I should say about Macho. He's learned the phrase, "Put it away." All I have to do now is point to what I want him to pick up, say "put it away," and he'll put it back where it belongs! Whoo-hoo! I'm training him well.
